About
What's This Charge? is a free tool that helps you quickly figure out what an unfamiliar charge on your card statement or payment alert actually is.
What it helps with
- What unfamiliar names like APPLE.COM/BILL, GOOGLE *, or PADDLE.NET actually are
- When it's a Merchant of Record (Paddle, FastSpring, Lemon Squeezy) hiding the real software you paid for
- Where to cancel or request a refund (with links to the official page)
- What to do if a charge really isn't yours (freeze the card, dispute it)
How it works
Whatever you type is searched entirely in your browser. The query is never sent to a server or stored. The charge-name information is curated data built into the site's code.
About accuracy
Everything here is informational, based on the charge name text alone. It doesn't confirm a specific merchant or whether a refund is possible. Always verify with your bank and the official page. See the disclaimer for details.
Who made this
Built by an independent developer who got tired of searching for cryptic charge names, and decided to organize the answers into one free tool. It's ad-supported and has no other business model. Contact: gudvy66@gmail.com.
