PAYPAL — what is this charge?
Platform / subscriptionThis is a payment you made through PayPal — the real seller is hidden.
PayPal is a payment method, not the seller. The name after 'PAYPAL *' is usually the actual merchant. It's often a PayPal automatic (recurring) payment set up with some other service, so the real subscription lives with that merchant.
