How to cancel Discord (Nitro / server subscriptions) (and get a refund)
Cancel Discord Nitro from User Settings > Subscriptions — but you must cancel on the same device type you bought on.

- Open Discord (desktop or browser), click the gear next to your name (User Settings)
- Go to the Nitro / Subscriptions section and choose 'Cancel'
- A cancelled subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period
⚠️ The app-store trap
If you bought Nitro on an iPhone, the charge shows as APPLE.COM/BILL and you cancel it in Apple's Subscriptions — Discord support can't manage an iOS subscription. Desktop/browser purchases can only be cancelled on desktop/browser, mobile only on mobile.
Can you get a refund?
Discord may refund a recent Nitro purchase in some cases; request it through Discord support. Server boosts and older charges are usually not refundable.
Easy-to-miss gotchas
- Cancel on the same platform you subscribed on (Apple, Google, or Discord directly)
- A shared-account purchase by someone else is a common surprise Nitro charge
