How to cancel Twitch (subscriptions / Bits) (and get a refund)
A recurring Twitch charge is a channel subscription that renews monthly — turn off renewal on the Subscriptions page, at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Not sure this charge is even Twitch (subscriptions / Bits)?See what the “TWITCH” charge on your statement actually is →Where the cancel button actually is
- Sign in at twitch.tv and open the Subscriptions page (account menu)
- Select the gear/settings next to a subscription and choose 'Don't Renew Subscription'
- Do this at least 24 hours before the renewal date so you're not charged again
⚠️ The app-store trap
If you subscribed on iOS, the charge is billed by Apple — turn off renewal and get refunds through Apple, not Twitch.
Can you get a refund?
Twitch generally does NOT refund recurring subs, Bits, or gift subs except for fraud, a technical fault, or where the law requires it — so cancel renewal before the next charge. See 'Refunds on Twitch'.
Easy-to-miss gotchas
- 'TWITCHINTER' on a statement is Twitch Interactive — the same company
- Gifting a sub is a one-time charge, not recurring
