How to cancel Adobe (Creative Cloud / Acrobat) (and get a refund)

Cancel Adobe from account.adobe.com > Plans — but check your plan type first, because an annual plan can carry an early-cancellation fee.

Where the cancel button actually is

  1. Sign in at account.adobe.com and open 'Plans'
  2. Under your plan, select 'Manage plan' > 'Cancel your plan'
  3. Follow the flow — Adobe may offer a discount to stay; confirm the cancellation to finish

⚠️ The app-store trap

If you bought Adobe (e.g. Lightroom, Acrobat) through Apple's App Store or Google Play, cancel it in that store's subscriptions, not on Adobe's site.

Can you get a refund?

Adobe's stated terms give a full refund if you cancel an annual or monthly plan within 14 days of the first order. After that, an annual plan cancelled early may charge an early-termination fee (about 50% of the remaining term). Verify on the official cancellation page.

Easy-to-miss gotchas

  • 'Annual, paid monthly' still commits you for a year — cancelling early can cost a fee
  • A monthly (no commitment) plan can be cancelled anytime without a fee
