How to cancel Dropbox (and get a refund)
Cancel a Dropbox plan from Manage account > Cancel plan — a common surprise here is a free trial that auto-converted to paid.

- Sign in at dropbox.com, click your avatar (bottom-left) > 'Manage account'
- Scroll to the bottom and click 'Cancel plan', then confirm
- Your plan keeps its features until the end of the billing period
⚠️ The app-store trap
If you don't see 'Cancel plan', you bought Dropbox in a mobile app — cancel it in the Apple App Store or Google Play subscriptions instead.
Can you get a refund?
EU / UK / Turkey users can get a refund if they cancel within 14 days of purchase (contact support); most other regions are non-refundable. Check the official refund page.
Easy-to-miss gotchas
- A free trial converts to a paid plan unless you cancel before it ends
- Annual plans charge a full year at once — that's usually the renewal
