How to cancel iCloud+ (Apple storage) (and get a refund)
iCloud+ is Apple storage, so you cancel it by downgrading to the free 5GB plan in your Apple settings — on the statement it shows as APPLE.COM/BILL.

- iPhone/iPad: Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage Account Storage (or Manage Storage) > Change Storage Plan > Downgrade Options
- Choose the free 5GB plan to stop the paid charge
- Mac: System Settings > Apple Account > iCloud > Manage; Windows: iCloud app > Manage
⚠️ The app-store trap
iCloud+ is billed by Apple, so it appears as APPLE.COM/BILL and is managed only in Apple's settings — there's no separate iCloud website to cancel it. No Apple device? Use Apple's 'cancel without an Apple device' page.
Can you get a refund?
Downgrading takes effect after the current billing period ends. Refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com and are reviewed case by case.
Easy-to-miss gotchas
- Running out of the free 5GB is why Apple may have auto-upgraded you to a paid tier
- Downgrading to 5GB may require you to free up space so your data still fits
