How to cancel Nintendo (eShop / Switch Online) (and get a refund)
A recurring Nintendo charge is usually Switch Online auto-renewing — turn off automatic renewal to stop it.

- On the Switch: eShop > Account Information, or sign in at accounts.nintendo.com
- Open your Nintendo Switch Online membership and turn OFF automatic renewal
- Do this at least 48 hours before it expires so you're not renewed
Can you get a refund?
Nintendo generally does not refund or credit the remaining time on a Switch Online membership; some regions have a statutory 14-day cancellation right. Accidental game/DLC purchases have very limited refund eligibility — use Nintendo's refund request page.
Easy-to-miss gotchas
- A child's account under Family can bill the organizer's card
- Turn off auto-renewal early — Nintendo won't refund the remaining membership time
