- Sign in at patreon.com and open your Memberships (profile menu)
- Find the creator and select 'Edit' > 'Cancel membership'
- You keep access until the end of the current billing period
⚠️ The app-store trap
If you joined via the Patreon iPhone app, the charge is billed by Apple — cancel it in iPhone Settings > Subscriptions instead.
Can you get a refund?
Patreon lets you request a refund from your Billing History within 60 days of a monthly charge; the creator reviews and approves or declines it. Annual memberships are generally non-refundable except in extraordinary cases.
Easy-to-miss gotchas
- One statement charge can bundle several creators you support
- Annual memberships bill a full year at once — that's usually a renewal, not fraud
